What is Turning Point Discovery Center?

Our Mission

The Turning Point Discovery Center helps children jumpstart their imagination and tap into their creative genius through S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and to explore the history of Trenton as the turning point for American freedom.

By engaging in Turning Point Discovery Center’s unique blend of hands-on STEAM educational activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and exhibits that highlight the history of Black and Brown Americans in Trenton, children of all ages from all walks of life will explore new interests while learning how Trenton became the turning point for American freedom.

We believe all children should see representation of themselves in the history of our great city. By creating a place that celebrates STEAM and shares a truly inclusive examination of our past, the TPDC can help our children to build thriving futures full of opportunity.
